Mazinga Z (Mazinger Z)

Mazinga Z (Mazinger Z in the original Japanese) is one of the most important robot created by Go Nagai in 1972. The animated series produced by Toei Animation was broadcast on Rai Uno (Italy) in 1980 for a total of 51 episodes, but actually in the original version were 92, so the link from Mazinger Z to Great Mazinger was neglected. The series Mazinger Z is also linked to that of Grendizer since the pilot Ryo Kabuto (Koji Kabuto in the original Japanese) was actually Alcor, Duke Fleed's friend who drove the flying saucer TFO. Having to give a correct order of the events recounted in Italy, the first series has been Grendizer than Mazinger Z and Great Mazinger finally. Compared to other Japanese robots, Mazinger Z probably is the smallest since it is high "only" 18 meters, just think that the Great Mazinger measure 25 meters.
