Daitarn III (Muteki Kojin Daiturn 3)
La serie di Daitarn 3 esce per la prima volta in Giappone nel giugno del 1978 con il titolo "Muteki Kojin Daiturn 3" ( tradotto "Daitarn 3, l'invincibile uomo d'acciaio") e dopo un clamoroso successo fu trasmesso in Italia nel 1980. Va ricordato che il contributo al successo italiano è stato dato anche dalla sigla "Daitarn 3" che ancora oggi tutti i fans di questo robot ricordano. La serie realizzata dalla Nippon Sunrise per la regia di Yoshiyuki Tomino e Hajime Yadate, venne diviso in 40 episodi, tutti entusiasmanti e ricchi di azione. Daitarn 3 è un gigantesco robot, forse il più grande di tutti i robot giapponesi apparsi in tv (quasi 120 metri, in pratica un palazzo di 40 piani), che pilotato dal giovane Haran Benjo, difende la terra dall'invasione dei meganoidi, cyborg in grado di assumere dimensioni gigantesche, che vorrebbero conquistare la terra dietro ordine del malvagio meganoide Don Zaucker.
